World Bicycle Relief

Campaign Landing Pages for a Non-Profit

Creative Process

Over the past year or so I have helped World Bicycle Relief manage their evolving and dynamic website. They put on several campaigns throughout the year to raise funds, and I help them create interactive and animated landing pages to help earn those funds. Matt, the Creative Director, always likes to elevate the designs as much as possible which yiels for some really cool animataed and thoughtfully designed pieces.

Scroll Animation

For the latest page I developed, Racing the Sun, the idea was to have the first section with the African sunset video fade into the next section with the illustrated mountain graphic.  I set the section to be 100% the height of the visitors browser and used Scroll Magic to achieve the scroll effect. And because the video is self-hosted in HTML5, this entire experience works flawlessly on mobile.

Easy to Update

Leveraging Advanced Custom Fields to make this template, I organized and grouped the fields together based on section. This makes it easy from the WordPress dashboard for anybody on their team to quickly update their content on their own.

Landing Page Development

Below are screenshots of some of the pages I’ve developed. A live experience is always better than a screenshot, so definnitely visit one (or some!) of the links below. All pages designed by Meow Vatanatumrak.
